AAron’s musical journey began as a young drummer with the Afro-Caribbean dance company L’acadco, where he learned from skilled drummers well-versed in Jamaican and West African traditions. By age 15, he had already achieved mastery in drumming.
A pivotal moment in his career came during a performance in Jamaica, where Rita Marley, wife of reggae legend Bob Marley, recognized his talent and awarded him a full scholarship to study African drumming at The Noyam Institute in Ghana. There, he connected deeply with shamans who taught him about the healing power of the drum. His experiences continued in 2012 when he toured Australia, living among Aboriginal communities and learning to play the didgeridoo.

AAron leads dynamic drum circles and workshops both nationally and internationally, fostering community and connection through rhythm. He also provides consultations on Afro-Caribbean drumming.
In 2016, AAron created an interactive drumming program called The Healing Drum Circle, designed to break down barriers and help individuals navigate addiction, heal from trauma, and find balance amidst life’s chaos—both internally and externally.
